WHY LACROSSE?

 

It's fun. It's fast. It's action-packed. It emphasizes skill and conditioning over height and brawn. And it has the coolest equipment in sports. Where else can you gear up with a flo bucket and rip top cheddar?

 

If you're looking for a sport to excel in or to keep you in shape between basketball and football, lacrosse may be for you.

 

 

30A TERRITORY

 

30A Lacrosse covers Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport, all the way down to Panama City and Panama City Beach.  Check out our Territory map.  Anyone outside the 30A area is welcome and encouraged to join the club, but practices will be held primarily in the Santa Rosa Beach and Point Washington area.  Kids attending these schools are well within the 30A Lacrosse region:

RECRUITING / REGISTRATION

 

The sport of Lacrosse needs young players to grow up in the game.  30A Lacrosse is looking for kids 1st grade through High School who want to play in an organized league.  In the Florida Panhandle, there are currently organizations with U11 teams (1st – 5th grade), U13 teams (6th & 7th grade), U15 teams (8th & 9th grade), and High School teams (9th – 12th grade). 

 

Advanced players are allowed to play up a division, and players who need extra work are allowed to play down a division.  Choices on placement are made by the coaching staff and the organization as a whole.  

 

During the fall of 2015, 30A Lacrosse and the Destin Rockets will begin to organize “Fall Ball” for those kids interested in playing Lacrosse.  Fall Ball will consist of play on either Saturday or Sunday against teams in the local area.  All travel to Saturday or Sunday games will be from Santa Rose Beach, Destin, Niceville and Panama City Beach.
